Finding Your Gift From God.

Thomas Fortenberry has been given a gift of poetry.
It seems that he can make most words rhyme.
Not only that, as a retired Christian Minister,
Tom gives his gift of love to everyone to whom
he comes in contact.

Alone With God

There’s a place to which I go
When I’m down and feeling low.
The location doesn’t really matter;
It’s the quiet there --- no noise or chatter.

Spending time alone with God ---
Oh! the joy as through life I trod!
I’m so glad He gave this thirst to me,
From which only He can set me free!

The need to be with Him there,
In sweet fellowship and private prayer,
Is truly a blessing from above ---
To be loved by Him and Him to love!

Earthly joys all seem to pale,
Compared to Him Who cannot fail.
Heaven here and now is this ---
A foretaste of eternal bliss!

The next poem came to Tom while he was asleep.


For Only You


Nothing on earth is more sublime,

Than to walk with God all the time!

He’s with us continually night and day

To guide us in all we think, do and say!



He knows all we’ve done and will in the future do.

He’s watching now as you read this poem too!

He’s focused on each of us 24/7,

As if there’s no other human on earth, in hell or heaven!



He knows all about us there is to know;

His infinite knowledge makes it so.

He loves to walk with us day after day;

He’s never bored as we sleep, work and play.



He loves us far more than our dearest love on earth.

That He died for us shows how much to Him we’re worth!

No one should ever feel insignificant or small

Knowing God’s love moved Him for us to give His all!



So know when on your knees at the end of the day,

You’re infinitely loved by the infinite God to Whom you pray!

Had you in all the Universe been the only one ---

For only you He still would have given His darling Son!

I have discovered some obvious facts through my own spiritual journey. One is you will be doing something each and everyday, why not make it a positive contribution to my Creator?
The day is going to go by anyway so why not find a goal and a plan to make that TIME work for you. 
I wanted to create a plan that would make "giving back" easy and effective means for anyone to use.
This Goal plan works every time and has proven outcomes.
10 Spiritual Steps To Daily Success
1- You were born for Greatness! GOD created you with that only intention. 
Every one of us is unique. Find it and excel.
2- God’s Universe will pay any price that you ask. Don’t price yourself low.
3- GOD gave you the Gift of a Dream and it was placed in your Heart. Honor God’s gift and acknowledge it everyday.
4- Have F.A.I.T.H. and believe in your Dream. Have Faith that it is possible. It’s possible to achieve the Dream. It’s possible.
5- Map out the Lord’s Dream with a plan of Daily Action. Goals are your Map of Action to achieve your Dreams. Use these SMART Goals everyday and write them down. Writing is the Action part of thinking.
6- Wake-up each day knowing that GOD gave you a way. Pray to find it and do it.
7- Go the extra Mile, never perform anything less than your best and do it with enthusiasm. The LORD is ENTHUSIASTIC about everything that you do for Him.
8- Say YES to God’s opportunity even if it is disguised as HARD work.
9- Pray that you will never go to bed the same way you woke up only better.
10- Never forge, the greatest power that GOD has given us is prayer. Maintain a link with your Creator through the Power of Prayer. Reflect, meditate, focus, re-evaluate, re-focus and offer your gift back as a Prayer throughout the day. This will work Miracles.
